JAZZ ALIVE is a new series that aims to celebrate the expansive nature of Jazz and foster community engagement through accessible Jazz dance and music performance. The series offers affordable Jazz programming for the NY community, play space and paid performance opportunity for The NEW Jack Cole Dancers, engagement with outside Jazz artists, and opportunity for other choreographers to bring additional Jazz rooted perspectives to the table.  

In tonight's performance you will see both old and new rep created by Cam Loeser for The NEW Jack Cole Dancers, as well as work created by other choreographers in the company. We hope to expand this program in the future by collaborating with additional creatives outside the company, and incorporating live music to include our Band members and honor the living and breathing relationship between Jazz music and dance.
