BACK THIS FALL!

The NEW Jack Cole Dancers are hot off of their developmental residency for CLUB ACT through the CUNY Dance Initiative and Laguardia Performing Arts Center,  and are gearing up for an official run this fall!

CLUB ACT offers an alluring evening of Jazz dance and music unlike anything you've seen before. The act reinvigorates the age of titillating table-side entertainment, immersing its audience in a scintillating mid-century Jazz club and offering a thrilling look at the legacy of dance pioneer Jack Cole and the cultural resonance of this art form. The show features numerous Jazz and Theater Dance pieces choreographed in the innovative style of Cole’s Broadway, Film, and Nightclub work, performed by dynamite dancers trained in the dynamic and virtuosic Cole style and technique.

From the mid-1930s through the ‘60s, Jack Cole dazzled New York and Chicago nightclubs with his unique fusion of world dance styles and Jazz music. Cole's exhilarating and authentic interpretation of cultural modalities paved the way for much of the popular Jazz and Theater dance today, including the work of American dance legends Bob Fosse and Jerome Robbins. Now in the 21st century, choreographer Cam Loeser’s company, The NEW Jack Cole Dancers, brings Cole's spirit back to Manhattan’s nightlife. Get ready to experience the thrill of Cole’s world in this provocative and enlightening evening of Jazz music and dance!

We are raising money to keep this project going!

If you're able, head on over to the link below to show some love today.
